Purpose of Position
The Charter Sales Executive is responsible for selling EJM Charter solutions to retail customers (with specific focus on corporate executives and high-net-worth individuals) and developing relationships with potential Charter Customers. Charter Sales Executive also leverages relationships with existing Customers to cultivate those relationships for retention and referral opportunities. The ultimate measure of success for the Charter Sales Executive is performance relative to new customer acquisition, new customer revenue and new customer margin.
This position will oversee and grow a client base in Texas. Preference will be given to individuals based in Texas with aviation experience.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Develop and create new client relationships through process of prospecting, lead follow-up, interest development, closure and post-close handoff to Charter Solutions Team.
- Helps expand EJM and NetJets brand awareness through the representation of products, programs, capabilities, and partnerships across NetJets Inc. suite of solutions.
- Establish, build, and expand relationships with existing and potential customers through regional activity and personal networking.
- Partner with NetJets and QS Partners sales teams to build and maintain trusted relationships and referral base.
- Partner with Charter Solutions Team to retain and service long-term relationships with Clients.
- Develop and maintain accurate prospect and customer data through diligent use of Salesforce.com and other systems.
- Provide prompt and accurate completion of Sales reports requested by management including sales forecasts and territory business plans.

- This is a commissioned sales position selling to corporate executives and high-net-worth individuals. Must have an established track record selling products or services and experience building and maintaining strong, trusted client relationships
- Needs a strong boardroom presence and presentation skills as well as the ability to articulate value versus cost
- Position will require self-generation of leads, robust and aggressive prospecting and disciplined management of pipeline
- Position is focused on retail charter sales, not wholesale charter sales to charter brokers
- Salesperson must be able to work independently with minimal oversight and solve challenges and overcome customer objections and obstacles to selling
- Confidence in representing the EJM brand and selling EJM services
- Must be comfortable addressing customer issues and service deviations 24/7/365
- Must be willing to travel extensively within assigned territory to conduct customer/prospect meetings
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office, Salesforce.com (a plus)
- Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines and function as a member of a team
- Detail-oriented person
- Experience/knowledge in the private aviation industry is strongly preferred
- Residence or the ability to reside in Texas is required
