Purpose of Position

Responsible for development and revision of FAA and/or company documents essential to the safety and regulatory compliance of the organization. 

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain FAA and/or company manuals including but not limited to, Minimum Equipment Lists (MEL), Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Programs (CAMP), or other documents required for the safety and regulatory compliance of the organization

•  Administration of internal document management solution Comply365 to efficiently and effectively disseminate information to users 

• Development, distribution, and auditing of FAA required Passenger Briefing Cards

• Represent the organization as the liaison to the assigned Cincinnati FSDO Inspectors

Education

Bachelor's in English or Aviation

Years of Experience

2-4 years of experience

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs)

• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Previous experience with Comply365 preferred, not required
• Knowledge of aviation regulatory, advisory, and reference materials
• Previous technical writing experience
• FAA Airmen Certificate(s) - (preferred, not required)
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) - (preferred, not required)
