Purpose of Position

The Crew Resource Planner embraces and executes the vision of the Executive Jet Management Flight Plan.  This position must ensure the crewmembers remain current and that all qualifications are maintained in a timely and efficient manner.  They are responsible for planning, filling, and communicating training events for company-specific and aircraft-specific training requirements. They are responsible for implementing duty assignments per 14 CFR and EJM guidelines associated with the daily flight schedule. 

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Assign pilots, flight attendants and cabin service managers to trips, ensuring compliance with relevant Federal Aviation Regulations and EJM Policy; manage Ijet2 timeline for crewmember's flight assignments and scheduled training events.
  • Schedule Crewmembers for currency related training events. Associated duties include slot procurement, proper documentation, due month tracking, recordkeeping, and qualification oversight.
  • Gather, interpret and respond to inquiries initiated by crewmembers and other internal / external customers regarding training requirements and policies, regulatory requirements related to duty, flight, and rest, and/or other Crew Resource Planning questions.
  • Source supplemental crew support and vet crewmember qualifications for scheduled flight segments, when needed.
  • Assist cross-departmental processes when onboarding of new crew members to management agreement type.

  • Previous experience in an operations environment.
  • Previous experience in a fast paced, dynamic work environment and ability to handle multiple tasks with shifting and/or competing priorities. 
  • Ability to perform and shift priorities in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner in stressful situations.   
  • Must maintain a working knowledge of all relevant FAA regulations, EJM manuals, and EJM policies and procedures. 
  • Act as subject matter expert in all aspects of scheduling and training requirements.  
  • Ability to make autonomous decisions taking into account multiple variables.
