Purpose of Position

The Crew Resource Planner embraces and executes the vision of the Executive Jet Management 20/20 Flight Plan.  This position must ensure the crewmembers remain current and that all qualifications are maintained in a timely and efficient manner.  They are responsible for planning, filling, and communicating training events for company-specific and aircraft-specific training requirements. They are responsible for implementing duty assignments per 14 CFR and EJM guidelines associated with the daily flight schedule. 

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Assign pilots, flight attendants and cabin service managers to trips, ensuring compliance with relevant Federal Aviation Regulations and EJM Policy; manage Ijet2 timeline for crewmember's flight assignments and scheduled training events.
  • Schedule Crewmembers for currency related training events. Associated duties include slot procurement, proper documentation, due month tracking, recordkeeping, and qualification oversight.
  • Gather, interpret and respond to inquiries initiated by crewmembers and other internal / external customers regarding training requirements and policies, regulatory requirements related to duty, flight, and rest, and/or other Crew Resource Planning questions.
  • Source supplemental crew support and vet crewmember qualifications for scheduled flight segments, when needed.
  • Assist cross-departmental processes when onboarding of new crew members to management agreement type.

Education

Associate's in Aviation Management or Business Administration

  • Previous experience in an operations environment.
  • Previous experience in a fast paced, dynamic work environment and ability to handle multiple tasks with shifting and/or competing priorities.

  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner in stressful situations.   
  • Must maintain a working knowledge of all relevant FAA regulations, EJM manuals, and EJM policies and procedures. 
  • Act as subject matter expert in all aspects of scheduling and training requirements.  
  • Ability to make autonomous decisions taking into account multiple variables.
