Purpose of Position
This position is responsible for the scheduling of crew duty assignments in accordance with 14 CFR part 135 and part 91, and EJM guidelines associated with the daily flight schedule. This position will also cross-train in crew training and records, so they can assist with training scheduling and reporting as needed.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Assign pilots, cabin attendants and cabin service managers to trips, ensuring compliance with relevant Federal Aviation Regulations and EJM Policy.
- Gather, interpret and respond to inquiries initiated by crewmembers and other internal/external customers regarding regulatory requirements related to duty, flight, and rest, and/or other operations schedule related inquiries.
- Source supplemental crew support and vet crewmember qualifications for scheduled flight segments, when needed.
- Ensure crew member contact information and preferences are entered in the appropriate system of record.
- Review and complete crew duty assignments for all trips added to the Flight Management System timeline, communicating with appropriate departments when changes are needed.
- Quarterly cross training with Crew Training and Records department to understand company and FAA requirements for crew qualifications. Ability to utilize crew training database and produce reports as needed.

- Previous experience in an operations environment.
- Previous experience in a fast paced, dynamic work environment and ability to handle multiple tasks with shifting and/or competing priorities.
- Ability to perform and shift priorities in a deadline-oriented environment.
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner in stressful situations.
- Must maintain a working knowledge of all relevant FAA regulations, EJM manuals, and EJM policies and procedures.
- Ability to make autonomous decisions considering multiple variables.
