Purpose of Position

Design the policies for crew management processes (such as Recruitment, Fleeting and Upgrade, Flex Work, Additional roles and Absenteeism) and manage the implementation of those processes, ensuring full compliance with the policies and the CBA. Partner with HR for designing and  implementing a Crew Engagement strategy and communication plan and Crew Career Path for Crew Office roles.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Policies and Processes
• Ensure Crew policies and processes are up to date, in partnership with internal stakeholders (e.g. Recruitment, Fleeting and Upgrade, Flex Work, Additional Roles, Absenteeism, Uniforms, T&E, Grievance, Gateways, Work Outside NetJets, and others).
• Ensure that all processes are strictly adhering to existing approved policies, ensuring that relevant teams are briefed and trained on those policies.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (such as HR, Finance, BI&A) to ensure that all analytics regarding Crew are correct.
Ongoing operational follow up with Crew members
• Coordinate the team, ensuring an accurate and timely reply to Crew Members’ questions (email/ phone/ in person), liaising with internal departments when needed.
• Ensure an effective management of Visa and Passport’s for Crew Members, on time and on budget, as per internal Policies.
• Ensure the Uniforms management, ensuring an effective management of the external provider, by defining and monitoring SLAs.
Crew Engagement and Communication
• Partner with HR to recommend a Crew engagement strategy and a communication plan for the Crew.
• Identify key topics for the Crew workforce and recommend initiatives that improve engagement and reinforce NJE as an employer of choice.
• Partner with HR on Crew related events (Crew Summit, Crew Business Update), liaising with Crew their attendance and all logistics needed for them to attend.
Recruitment
• Partner with Ops Planning to have the accurate new hires forecast for the year ahead, and plan and control the yearly Crew recruitment in advance, keeping relevant stakeholders informed, to guarantee the business recruitment needs. Monitor and ensure that Crew headcount and compensation budget is followed.
• Benchmark market trends and best practices, recommend updates to the NJE Policies and Procedures and ensure its continuous update, as per superior approval.
• Identify the need to partner with external stakeholders and ensure an effective management of their SLA.
• Based on the approved recruitment needs, implement the recruitment process as per the approved Policy and aligned with CBA.
• Keep relevant stakeholders informed throughout the process, to ensure a smooth and effective onboarding of Crew.
• Define and recommend a strategy that enhances NJE employer branding for Crew target, as
well as implement the approved actions, to increase crew talent attraction.
Fleeting and Upgrades
• Partner with Ops Planning to have the accurate Fleet Changes/Upgrade forecast for the year ahead, and plan and control the yearly Crew recruitment in advance, keeping relevant stakeholders informed, to guarantee the business recruitment needs.
• Monitor and ensure that Crew headcount and compensation budget is followed.
• Benchmark market trends and best practices, recommend updates to the NJE Policies and Procedures and ensure its continuous update, as per superior approval.
• Plan and coordinate the implementation of the Fleeting and Upgrade Policies, ensuring
strict adherence to those as well as to the CBA.
• Ensure a communication to the Crew members that foster transparency and improve
employee experience.
• Keep relevant stakeholders informed throughout the process, to ensure an effective management of subsequent/ inter-related processes.

Education

Bachelor's in Human Resources or Management

• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a HRBP

• Fluency in Business English (written and spoken)
