Purpose of Position

Manage the Crew Support Programme and associated team, as part of the Company Safety Management System.

Support the Head of Aviation Safety in maintaining a risk profile for NetJets operations, assess possible safety risks as a result of identified human factor hazards, and coordinate risk management mitigation and monitoring.

Tasks and Responsibilities

· Alert the Head of Aviation Safety immediately concerning any significant human factors safety issue impacting the safety of the operation;

· Participate in the strategic development of the NetJets Crew Support Programme and its integration in the Company Safety Management System;

· Manage the Crew Support Programme to ensure the continuous development of a proactive and non-punitive program, data is efficiently captured and appropriately analysed to improve the safety of NetJets operations, through the identification of human factor hazards, risk assessment and monitoring of safety performance indicators;

· Ensure protection of the confidentiality of all associated data of the Crew Support Programme activities in accordance with applicable regulations;

· Manage the programme for the prevention and detection of misuse of psychoactive substances by crew members and other safety-sensitive personnel, to ensure that the safety of our aircraft or the occupants is not endangered;

· Manage the Crew Support Programme training and promotion activities to ensure crew members have the necessary knowledge in recognising, coping with, and overcoming any problem which might negatively affect their ability to safely perform their duties;

· Manage the Crew Injury reporting system and associated analysis process in accordance with the applicable regulations;

· Support the Head of Aviation Safety in the management of NetJets Fatigue Risk Management System;

· Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation and monitoring of human factor risk mitigating actions;

· Support the NetJets ERP, through the participation in the Notification and Family Assistance team, in case of an ERP activation;

· Maintain good contact with appropriate industry organisations and sources to ensure that NetJets continues to develop and maintain the best safety practices and standards;

· Ensure that safety is a part of every job and activity. Support the safety and compliance programmes, ensuring that any issue that may affect them is appropriately reported;

· Lead and motivate team members in their areas of expertise and through performance metrics, driving for a culture of excellence and results;

Master's in Psychology or related field

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs)

· Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology or similar technical area with Human Factors Support area;

· A minimum of 6 years of practical experience in the aviation industry;

· Experience in aviation human factors analysis;

· Experience in clinical psychology practice and/or providing human factors support;

· Fluency in Business English (written and spoken);

· Excellent analytical skills and very good presentation skills;

· Preferential knowledge in aviation regulations;

· Preferential experience and knowledge of Employee relations;

· Proficiency in MS office.
