Purpose of Position

Support training activities and the evidence-based training program by developing and maintaining the training management systems and by turning crew training information into insights in support of the Training management’s decision making. Responsible for close coordination between Training, IT, outside vendors, and system user groups in advancement of scheduled and unscheduled enhancements/modifications or projects. 
 

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis of training events reports to assess quality and meaning of qualitative and quantitative information;
  • Identify, analyse, and interpret patterns and trends in technical aspects of the crew member training with the aim of supporting the evidence-based training program and the Training Centre of Excellence; 
  • Develop and maintain the training management systems, removing corrupted data, fixing errors and reorganizing data in a readable format, to ensure that all systems and the department meets regulatory requirements;
  • Work to strengthen the company's training management systems through innovative initiatives that fully utilize company resources; 
  • Identify improvement opportunities in crew training processes in support of the Training Centre of Excellence;
  • Collaborate with outside vendors to ensure proper training documentation (records) is produced to maintain compliance;
  • Prepare analysis reports/dashboards stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data, enabling the Training management to make informed business decisions;
  • Develop methods to secure and audit information across platforms. #LI-Hybrid

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs)

  • General understanding in the areas of application programming, database, and system design;
  • Knowledge of data visualization software like Tableau;
  • Knowledge of crew member training, regulations and record-keeping preferred;
  • Experience with Aviation Training Management System or similar system preferred;
  • Problem-solving skills;
  • Detail oriented with the ability to identify changing priorities in a constantly shifting and dynamic organization;
  • Proficiency in written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills;
  • Fluency in Business English (written and spoken);
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
