Purpose of Position

Develop and maintain an effective safety reporting system programme and safety investigations process, in accordance with applicable legislation to identify operational hazards and support NetJets risk management activities.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Process safety reports in accordance with EU, ANAC, UK CAA regulations and the NetJets safety management system;
  • Manage the analysis of safety reports, including risk classification, identification of immediate actions and liaison with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts;
  • Conduct safety investigations with the aim to identify both technical and human contributory factors to support follow up action and  trend analysis;
  • Support the management of the company risk register and conduct risk assessments, to ensure that NTA risk register accurately reflects the risk profile of NTA operations;
  • Support the company risk management process through supporting internal stakeholders in conducting risk assessments;
  • Regularly review safety analysis processes and procedures in order to propose improvements to the Head of Aviation Safety;
  • Participate in the production of Safety News by highlighting relevant safety events and issues for publication and produce the respective articles;
  • Support the preparation and/or organisation of regular safety meetings and active participation, such as safety action groups and Safety Review Board meetings.
  • Support the NTA fatigue risk management system, including the continuous improvement of applicable processes and organization and participation in the Fatigue Management Safety Action Group. #LI-Hybrid

  • Degree in an aviation, engineering or psychology field or equivalent experience in commercial aviation;
  • Knowledge of aviation safety management principles and practices is highly desirable;
  • Fluency in Business English (written and spoken);
  • High Proficiency in MS Office
