Purpose of Position

Conduct all daily activities assigned to his/her shift, to guarantee that all flights are quality reviewed and planned with required landing and overflying permissions, landing clearances, prior permission request, traffic rights and ground handling arrangements, according with all legal requirements in compliance with regulations and company procedures. Prepare flight plan and flight package for all flights to allow proper flight release by NJA Dispatch.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality and safety checks to all GITP flight bookings to ensure flight feasibility and the highest levels of safety and service to the Owner;
  • Submit applications for airport slots and PPRs (prior permissions requests), landing and overflight permits for all GITP flights planned; 
  • Submit requests for ground handling services, crew visas on arrival, and other ground related arrangements (special services) for all GITP flights planned;
  • Evaluate weather and aircraft performance to produce flight plans and packages to allow a flight release by Dispatch, in compliance with operational and Safety company procedures;
  • Liaise with NJA Operations, regarding any operational requirement to ensure the highest levels of safety and service and ensure an efficient and timely communication on all GITP flights details;
  • Guarantee that NJA Operations and Owner Services team are advised of any unforeseen situation and/or changes that may affect Owner’s flight activity to allow proper actions, to provide a high level of service; and ensure that customers are properly informed of all operational details.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience within Operations preferential in a similar position in aviation industry;
  • Minimum 1 year of experience within NJ;
  • International Flight Operations knowledge;
  • Proficiency in Business English (written and verbal);
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
