Purpose of Position

The Senior Product Owner is responsible for the continuous evolution of the digital capabilities to support the Awareness customer journey (e.g. SEO, Adobe Analytics, .Com, etc.) and digital content publishing processes.  S/he maintains a deep understanding of the current user experiences (e.g. Lead/Prospect, Owner Communications, Content Strategy, etc.), identifies and fills digital product gaps, and generates new ideas that improve the customer experience, drive growth and create operational efficiencies.  S/he is responsible partnering closely with their business stakeholders to develop priorities with measurable outcomes, and for leading cross functional Agile team(s) to define, design, deliver and maintain end-to-end solutions.  The Senior Product Manager ensures they are maximizing the value of their digital investment and meets agreed upon business objectives and key results.      

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for owning and advancing the Adobe Content Management System, Digital Asset Manager, Dynamic Media and Analytics capabilities, as well as multiple third-party asset creation and integration digital products.  Responsible for creating and delivering a roadmap to migrate current, fragmented content publishing landscape into a streamlined, efficient ecosystem across multiple user groups. 
  • Develop and maintain close relationships with business partners and stakeholders to ensure product and business objectives are aligned.  Define, prioritize, and clarify the product/initiative vision by partnering with stakeholders, business leaders, and the development team.  Lead the communication of product/initiative development status to stakeholders and others across the organization.
  • Create and continuously update the product roadmap, defining features and their measurable outcomes.  Develop value versus cost analysis for each feature to inform prioritization.
  • Operate as the point of contact working directly with Agile development team(s) through the entire solution delivery lifecycle.  Aid development team by identifying, gathering, and prioritizing requirements. Ensure timely decisions are made regarding priorities and scope, and that they reflect the vision of the product/initiative. Determine and communicate the goal of each sprint. Participate and remain actively engaged in development team cadence meetings and ceremonies.  Participate in end-user acceptance testing to validate stated requirements have been met. Analyze feedback and organize regular reviews of the working application with end-users to assess the progress relative to assumptions and business value and to assist with future feature creation.
