Purpose of Position

The Manager, Cybersecurity Engineering oversees a team of network and cybersecurity engineers responsible for the operation of the organization's network and cybersecurity infrastructure. This includes management of cybersecurity endpoint tooling, backend infrastructure, and the global data network. A successful candidate will have a technical background, is detailed oriented, and is able to manage a fast paced, high performing team.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Ensure cybersecurity infrastructure meets or exceeds existing and future capacity and resiliency requirements.
  • Ensure cybersecurity infrastructure is serving the needs of the Cybersecurity Operations team and the NetJets business.
  • Ensure infrastructure remains compliant with NetJets cybersecurity policies and standards.
  • Ensure changes are implemented through existing change control processes.
  • Ensure optimal operation of all cybersecurity infrastructure and actively work to reduce complexity.
  • Works with team to standardize activities through documenting processes, procedures, and systems. 
  • Work with business, cybersecurity, and IT stakeholders to deliver effective services.

 

Education

Bachelor's in Information Technology or Computer Information Systems

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT related discipline or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Outstanding organizational, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • 5+ years in an IT infrastructure or cybersecurity management role
  • Experience with networking technologies: SilverPeak SD-WAN, Cisco/Meraki routers, switches, Wi-Fi, NetBox
  • Experience with cybersecurity tools: Crowdstrike, Zscaler
  • Ability to manage changing workloads while maintaining a sense of priorities and delivering quality service within required timeframes
  • Attention to detail, organized, and able to work and research independently
  • Demonstrated adaptability, analytical, and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to learn new technologies and applications and apply that knowledge to daily workflows
