Purpose of Position

The Senior Copywriter is the storyteller for the leader in private aviation. This person ensures and promotes the consistency of the NetJets brand voice and messaging. The Senior Copywriter crafts flawless brand communications including advertising, prospect emails, collateral, event invitations, and editorial materials. This role partners with graphic designers, Owners Experience, Corporate Communications and members of the Marketing Team to deliver existing and prospective NetJets Owners a consistant brand experience across all channels. The Senior Copywriter is also responsible for managing editorial and content processes and procedures that facilitate the Marketing Department's communication needs. 

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • 60%: Content Creation: Write compelling stories about the many differentiators of the NetJets brand, as well as communications for marketing activations, email communications, collateral, partnership marketing and advertising.  Includes content planning, research and collaboration with team members across the business.  
  • 30% Editing, Research, and Oversight: Working with partners on cobranded content. May require research and understanding of partner brand voice. Oversight and management of Proofreader. 
  • 10% Content Inventory and Planning- Assess all current content to ensure consistency of data, phrasing and voice and tone. Work with Director of Project Management to plan content calendar for future content creation.  


Bachelor's in Communications or Marketing

  • Strong experience in editing, technical and creative writing, brand awareness (social media management, PR, communications).
  • Proven ability to work with and oversee the creation of various content formats that align with the brand vision (design, copy, videos, imagery, and internal documentation).  
  • Strong grammar and style knowledge is required, as is the ability to write/create copy.  
  • Highly collaborative and comfortable working across a number of different departments and with various skill sets.  
  • Proven ability to adapt and switch from Web, internal or external communication, to technical or creative projects. 
  • Agency or luxury brand experience preferred
