Purpose of Position

Provide on-site oversight of NetJets off-wing engine programs by witnessing teardowns, reviewing scrap parts and managing engine completions.  Work with NJA Propulsion Systems Director for cost savings on off-wing engines along with any other tasks to support the Propulsion Systems group.

Tasks and Responsibilities

•    Responsible for on-site oversight of NetJets P&WC engines and witness teardown and document condition for NJA Propulsion Systems
•    Responsible for drafting the NJA off-wing work scopes for P&WC engines along with any in-work revisions to the work scopes as necessary
•    Identifies any technical concerns during off-wing engine/APU teardown and assists NJA Propulsion Systems in developing a solution for NJA engine/APU programs
•    Assists NJA Propulsion Systems Director for review of engine shop visit cost estimates for any savings opportunities
•    Maintains the list off off-wing engines and tracks estimated completion dates, providing updates to NJA Planning, NJA Base/Service Hub Managers and NJA Propulsion Systems as required of when engines are expected to return to the operation
•    Point of contact for NetJets MCC, Materials, Propulsion Systems as necessary to obtain serviceable parts from NJA off-wing engines to support the operation when new/exchange parts are not available

• FAA A&P License preferred
• A working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

• Five years in aviation reliability engineering experience
• Five years in propulsion system line maintenance experience
• Excellent project management skills
• Ability to analyze large amounts of aircraft technical and performance data
• Excellent team-building and coaching skills
• Strong leadership skill set with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to adjust priorities of projects to meet the changing needs and demands of the organization and operation
