Purpose of Position

The Staff Accountant, Senior assists the VP Finance, Controller and Director, Accounting in more complex general accounting functions.  The Staff Accountant, Senior  is responsible for NJUS monthly financial statement closing duties and account reconciliations.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for preparation and tracking of Sales Executive and RVP commissions,  recording and reporting of NetJets aircraft fleets and share ownership, encumbrance, valuation, and policy implementation.  Researches and monitors aircraft valuation trends.  Monitors and record related depreciation.
  • Responsible for recording Sales and Operating cash transactions.
  • Responsible for monitoring and tracking various Prepaid Expenses/Assets and Other Accrued Liabilities, preparation of Intercompany Billings, account reconciliations and roll forward of several supporting schedules.
  • Performs daily and monthly close duties as assigned by the Director, Accounting. 
  • Evaluates and documents processes as needed.
  • Miscellaneous reporting as needed. .
