Purpose of Position

The objective of the Manager, Sales Engineering, QSP is to add value to QS Partners' clients, managing partners, employees, and affiliated companies by completing the specific responsibilities in a "world class" manner while adhering to the highest professional and ethical standards. These responsibilities include Aircraft Market Research, Aircraft Valuations, Aircraft Marketing Preparation (Retail and Disposal), and Pre-Buy/Demo/Closing Activities.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Aircraft Market Research -- For all those aircraft markets specified by QS Partners Management, and as may be from time to time be necessary to support QS Partners or NetJets sales efforts, develop and maintain a real-time, shared, electronic record of all aircraft currently available for sale, those aircraft that have recently transacted, and all relevant valuation data points within a given market by developing a professional relationship network with external aircraft owners, financers, managers, brokers, and researchers. Be the primary point of contact and disseminator of market information for AMSTAT, JETNET, Aircraft Post, and other industry valuation/market resources. 

  • Sales Engineering Product Creation – Produce strategic products that assist the sales team and their clients in the decision-making process, including Market Summaries, Model Comparisons, Market Value Analysis (MVA's), Hull Value Analysis, and Offer Analysis which are necessary to support the sales team’s closing and prospecting efforts. 

  • Aircraft Marketing Preparation -- In conjunction with the sales team, responsible for preparing an aircraft to be marketed for sale, acquired as inventory, or acquired on behalf of a client. This shall include the review and analysis of aircraft logbooks and maintenance records, coordinating and managing professional photography, preparation and development of aircraft specifications, and coordinating with the marketing team to ensure consistent, professional placement of a given aircraft in the desired marketing mediums.

  • Pre-Buy/Demo/Closing Activities -- Assist the sales team, on an as-needed basis, with in-person pre-purchase inspection input, demo or acceptance flights, and any other closing related aircraft events or activities that may be required.
     

Education

Bachelor's in Business Administration or Aviation
