Title: Social Media Specialist (NJUS)

Purpose of Position
The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for executing and optimizing the social media strategy across NetJets social channels, as well as fostering meaningful conversations with social audiences to build brand loyalty and create an active and engaged online community. This role will also support other digital channels (PR, website content, paid media, etc.). The Social Media Specialist will work closely with the Social Strategy Manager and Creative Team to ensure all content is on-brand, error free, and relevant for target audiences.
Tasks and Responsibilities
1. Asset Production: This role will work closely with our Project Management and Creative Teams to request necessary creative assets and ensure production deadlines are effectively communicated. This will, at times, include covering events for social and photoshoot logistics/execution in coordination with Social Strategist. Occasional travel may be required.
2. Posting and Publishing: This position will leverage the established social strategy to build, route, and schedule social calendars for NetJets and all portfolio brands and ensure tagging/data collection standards are met. This role will also advise and collaborate with copywriters and designers on social media best practices to ensure content is engaging and optimized for performance.
3. Community Management & Social Listening: This role will be extremely knowledgeable on brand mentions, industry trends, and competitor activities, and will use those insights to work with the Social Strategy Manager to help refine strategies and identify opportunities for engagement and acquisition.
4. Public Relations: Play a key support role in global PR efforts; maintaining agency access point to current collateral, partnering with internal stakeholders to collect data and messaging for approved press activity, generating reporting for brand activity, and analyze media coverage, mentions and reach.
5. Ad-Hoc Projects: This role will support the digital content team across web content, PR, SEO, and paid media executions. Ad-hoc projects could include publishing content, keyword research, tactical support, etc.
