Purpose of Position
The Supervisor, Global Travel position is a working supervisor responsible for daily operations of the Travel Services department and the supervision of travel coordinators. The Supervisor, Global Travel improves existing processes and solutions to improve the efficiency of the team and ensure corporate objectives are met. This role provides direction to team using extensive knowledge of travel and is ultimately responsible for the results of the team through coaching on performance, coordinating activities, and checking on quality and work progress.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Identifies and resolves problems/escalations with internal and external processes and partners.
- Provides direct supervision of travel department; including training, coaching, assignment of duties, scheduling, monitoring call/work volume, proactive communications.
- Actively manages workflow / day-to-day work requirements and provides support as needed to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Understands/improves/and enforces NetJets Travel Policy & Travel Guidelines.
- Interprets and communicates components of the pilot labor agreement.
- Works closely with Global Travel Management team it applies to policy/process and constant improvement initiatives / programs.
- Collaborates with all business entities, operations teams, on proactive travel support.
- Assist the Global Travel Management team evaluating the performance service level compliance of the travel coordinators (all levels/roles).

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs)
- High School Graduate required; preferred bachelor’s or associate degree in Travel/Tourism, Hospitality, Aviation, Business Management or equivalent
- 8-10 years related work experience required
- Working knowledge of MS office
- Prior GDS experience required in a corporate travel environment
- Working knowledge of IJET2 preferred
- Ability to work under pressure and in crisis situations
- Strong sense of fiscal responsibility and budget management
- Must cultivate a collaborative environment, building team rapport and partnerships by modeling respect, helpfulness, commitment, enthusiasm, and integrity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Sound leadership and interpersonal skills
