Title: VP, Supply Chain Management

Purpose of Position
The VP, Supply Chain Management must partner at all levels of the organization (especially across Maintenance and Procurement) to develop, implement, and execute an organization-wide supply chain management strategy that optimizes employee capabilities, supplier capabilities, achieves the organization's strategic objectives leading to a competitive advantage. The VP will overall responsibility for designing, developing and delivering the organization's supplier management strategy as well as overall responsibility for designing, developing and delivering the right process and organizational change management strategy that achieves desired outcomes.
Tasks and Responsibilities
• Build the commercial, contractual, and supply chain acumen in the maintenance organization
• Build the relationships with the maintenance operations (base, line, and tech services) to ensure we are leveraging our suppliers and OEM contracts appropriately
• Accountable for redesigning the process and tools required to manage Mx (including the requisition, approval, receipt, and payment of invoices)
• Ownership of product owner to collaborate with information technology on tools required to execute process

• Strong Supply Management and leadership background.
• Proven track record in creating, managing and executing supply management strategies in a complex, matrix environment with engagement of multiple stakeholders and under minimum supervision.
• Proven track record of influencing others and obtaining the necessary stakeholders buy-off and executing strategies in a complex, multi-functional and multi-regional environment.
• Ability to maintain and communicate a current understanding of supply chain best practices and technology trends to team members and business leaders.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written, that can be utilized to influence and drive the category management and decision-making processes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously and maintain tight timelines while meeting targeted savings outcomes.
• Demonstrated track record of total cost of ownership reduction and process improvement.
• Familiarity with a variety of state-of-the art supply management concepts, practices and procedures such as: lean; cost modeling; category strategies; materials management; modern manufacturing and others.
• Exercises good judgment to plan and accomplish goals, and ability to output a high quantity and quality of work with little supervision.
• Considerable experience managing contracts.
• Ability to assess organizational influences and develop networks to make required changes.
• Experience in managing, motivating and positively influencing a group of highly skilled supply management professionals towards meeting or exceeding aggressive targets in a complex environment and without being provided with a clear roadmap.
• Demonstrated ability to drive performance while managing and influencing through organizational changes above and beyond their direct scope of responsibility.
